Pool Operator on Location (POOL) Trainer
01/21/2010 9:00am - 4:00pm

Class runs 9 am to 4pm each day.

Prerequisites: Download the Study Guide here!

* Must complete the Study Guide and have read the course text prior to course start date. (contact Bill Van De Griek for your copy of the POOL text - included with your registration)

* Minimum age of 16.

This course provides YMCA maintenance personnel, aquatics professionals, and executive directors with basic knowledge of water chemistry, filtration, environmental control, risk reduction, cost effectiveness, and safe pool operation.

Manual: YMCA Pool Operations Manual, third edition (0-87322-656-9), $35.

Manual is $35 dollars. Your center should have a manual. If not, please contact srasmussen@ymcammidtn.org and she will order one for you.

Required for ALL Aquatic Directors and Property Managers. Also recommended for all those who supervise aquatics and pool shift leaders.
